2 out of 5 stars Too many mistakes   August 28, 2010
The Reader
You can tell the author has never been to Miami. At least not the areas described in the story. The author should have double and triple read the story before putting it in the hands of an editor. Too many mistakes and inconsistent story lines. You should check this out from the library or borrow from a friend. Not worth spending the money!

That nig Carter Diamond was caught slippin at the court house and got took out OG style. That's when illegitimate his seed Young Carter steps in to take over the fam biz. He's met with resistance from his two bruhs and sister at first but they eventually embrace him and pick up where Diamond left off. Like Cain and Abel one bruh got larceny in his heart and takes out his own twin which prompts the real OG of Miami the grandfather, to step up. Ole dude a true soldier. He so cold he's got men looking for his grandson to take him out for killing his own twin. Now you know you dealing with some treacherous people when they willing to kill their grandson.

Young carter is sleeping with this broad hired by the dreds to kill the entire cartel fam known as the murder mamas. This broad is bad but has a weakness like most females do. This was a damned good book!

5 out of 5 stars The Cartel   August 9, 2010

This is by far one of the best books that I have ever read. I do not know how these two keep coming up with these books but each one gets better and better. I received the book on Monday and was finished by Tuesday. The character Mecca is like no one that I have ever read about. Great read and I would suggest it to anyone.
