Product Description
When two drug-abusing Detroit musicians try to get into rehab, they find their way blocked by bureaucratic insensitivity, the cops and vengeful drug d

Amazon.com
British actor Tim Roth and the rapper Tupac Shakur are an unexpectedly charismatic and refreshing duo in this off-beat buddy movie. Closer than two brothers, these junkie musicians vow to kick their habits after a soul-shattering New Year's Eve. Gridlock'd is fueled by characterization, of which there is plenty, as the two play off one another with such finesse you would never know Shakur had been a relative novice to the acting profession. Off-beat humor lightens a bleak reality as these outcasts run smack against a brutal bureaucracy. Except for a tired subplot meant to jazz up the action, director Vondie Curtis-Hall employs an inventive approach in this sadly ignored theatrical release. --Rochelle O'Gorman

5 out of 5 stars TIM ROTH IS GREAT   July 11, 2010
Patricia Hemani (PA USA)
He play's a great sleeze bag. It's so damn funny...the idea of these two losers unable to go straight in a legitamate way. Have all of Roth's work and this is in the top fifteen.

5 out of 5 stars you just can't look away   April 27, 2010
this movie, it,s subject matter in the wrong hands could be
extremely uncomfortable, howevee the writing , direction not to mention the suberb acting makes this movie a hidden gem.
YOu end up liking drug addicts as they reveal themselves and stand naked to teh veiwer.

Tupac did a good job acting (he was the reason I watched this movie), but the movie was too slow for me. The director's choice of flashbacks to me didn't match with the plot.

5 out of 5 stars Way Better Than I Thought It Would Be   August 20, 2009

I bought this not really knowing if I would like it or not, and I was pleasantly suprised! Although it is a drama, there are lighter, funnier moments that make this film great. I would recommend this to friends.
